so nice to see Ari! How is the lil' bugger doing these days?

and I so NEED a close up lense.. may I ask what a 50mm costs? I have a nikon
D70 I got second hand for like 100 bucks.. so wanna take the "extra" money I didn't have to spend on the camera to get a close up lens..

Hi Rose!!!
:-)

now this is the interesting thing ... this is NOT a macro or even a closeup lens like I thought. This is fixed length 50mm lens. And as far as lens goes very inexpensive ... this one only cost me 100.00!!!!

I am blown away by all of that! But it is certainly doing what I wanted it to do. It has the capability to drop to f 1.8 - the photo of Ari is at that f stop - f/ 1.8. I love the colors and light I can get with this lens.

Ari -- he continues to have difficulties with sinus infections but seems in good spirit. He just prefers the warmth of the garage vs the air conditioning!! What can I say -- whatever works for him :-)

well, heck, it does shoot lovely regardless of the type of lense, really like the price too!

Glad Ari is diggin the garage.. maybe the warm air is easier to breathe
